Sports nutrition

Sports nutrition is important and to get maximum sports nutrition you will need to shop at the right places for your supplements, we recommend any of the approved items on this site or on any of sites that we promote.

What is sports nutrition? Well it can be anything from eating an apple, or eating a boiled chicken breast at 3am or it can be assistance with your diet by way of nutritional supplements such as whey protein or fat burners both of which can aid you in achieving the body you require.

All sports nutrition (except the nasty people who sell you steroids round the back of the gym) is for the enhancement of your athletic ability’s and has been common practice for sports people and athletes for many years. Here’s a bit of sports nutrition history for you;

Back in the good old days when the ancient Greeks and Romans (yes the ones from the movie life of Byran) started the Olympic games, the athletes and sports people had their own specialised program for enhanced performance which included diet and nutrition. A great example of this is the tale of Milo of Croton (this is real go Google it) he is the famous wrestler with legendary strength who won a massive five successive Olympic Games from the years 532 to 516 B.C to achieve such greatness he ate a whooping 9 kilograms (20 lb) of meat and 9 kilograms (20 lb) of bread each day which was washed down with 8.5 liters of wine a day, I bet he wished they had women’s netball in the Olympics back then!

Alcohol was commonly drunk as an ergogenic aid to increase performance in the Olympics through the early 1900s which is probably why the Olympics are rubbish today.
